She holds a PhD in Education from George Mason University (USA) and a Masters in TESOL from American University (USA). She also holds a Masters in English Literature from the University of Karachi. Dr. Habib has over two decades of teaching and research experience and has presented her research at various international forums, including George Washington University, USA, Washington State University, USA, and International Education Conference Doha, Qatar. Additionally, Dr. Habib is a certified examiner of International English Language Testing System, the certificate being granted by the University of Cambridge, ESOL Examinations. Focusing particularly on qualitative method of inquiry, her research interests are in gender studies, peace education, social justice, colonial and post-colonial education and professional teacher and curriculum development. She is a member of TESOL International and American Education Research Association (AERA).
